Job Description

MOO set out to shake up the world of print back in 2006. And we’ve come a long way since. Today we’re a 400 + strong team (we’re thinking of getting matching jackets) who create print and digital products for companies of all sizes – from Google and AirBnB to the guy who makes those amazing prints you found at a craft fair.   Our global HQ is in London, UK, while we also have premises in Dagenham. In the US, you’ll find us in Boston, MA Denver, CO, and East Providence, RI
We’re making new and exciting things – and we could really do with your help.

The Role

  • This role leads the day-to-day category management of MOO’s sourced and promotional product assortment, working with third-party suppliers to deliver branded merchandise that reflects customer demand, current promo trends, and MOO’s design-led brand ethos.
  • You will bring a finger-on-the-pulse understanding of the promo industry — spotting emerging products, materials, and decoration techniques — and translate those insights into a focused, commercially sound assortment.
  • In parallel, this role partners closely with MOO’s existing Stock, Planning, and Operations teams to support and improve inventory performance, helping ensure sourced and internally manufactured merch products are available, efficient, and revenue-supporting without disrupting established ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Promotional Product & Assortment Management
  • Lead the management and evolution of MOO’s sourced and promotional product range.
  • Blend promo industry trends, customer demand, and MOO’s brand and design standards to shape the assortment.
  • Monitor product performance and recommend assortment updates, additions, and exits.
  • Support identification of promo products with potential to evolve into hybrid or in-house offerings.

  • Trend & Market Insight
  • Maintain a strong point of view on promo product trends, including materials, sustainability, decoration techniques, and emerging use cases.
  • Stay closely connected to supplier innovation, trade shows, and industry developments.
  • Share market insight with Category, Marketing, and Design partners to inform launches and campaigns.

  • Third-Party Supplier Management
  • Manage relationships with third-party promo suppliers, acting as the primary category contact.
  • Support negotiations on pricing, MOQs, lead times, decoration capabilities, and service levels.
  • Establish scalable internal supplier onboarding processes that reduce friction and accelerate access to new promotional products.
  • Track supplier performance and collaborate on continuous improvement.

  • Inventory Enablement (Across Merch)
  • Partner with Stock and Planning teams to support improvements in availability, stock turns, and OOS reduction.
  • Provide category insight, promotional drivers, and demand context to support forecasting and replenishment decisions.
  • Collaborate with existing owners to identify out-of-stock risks, excess exposure, and lifecycle decisions.
  • Support refinement of inventory policies (weeks of cover, safety stock, replenishment cadence) in partnership with Stock and Planning teams.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Internal Manufacturing Category Manager to align demand drivers and roadmap timing with inventory readiness.
  • Partner with Marketing to support launch readiness and promo storytelling.
  • Act as a collaborative category voice with Operations and Supply Chain, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in promotional products and branded merchandise
  • Hands-on experience working with promo suppliers, MOQs, lead times, and decoration methods
  • Strong understanding of promo industry trends and market dynamics
  • Commercial mindset with comfort using data to inform decisions
  • Experience supporting inventory planning or demand forecasting
  • Collaborative working style and ability to influence without authority

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with design-led or premium brands
  • Exposure to hybrid or decorated promo products
  • Experience working with PromoStandards
