A. PROFILE
Role Title: Category Manager (Loyalty, Health and Education)
Reporting to: Digital Product and Innovation Senior Manager

B. CONTEXT
Purpose Accountable for the effective and efficient delivery, management and maintenance of U9's Digital Services Portfolio in order to generate revenues, acquire subscribers. Develop the company's digital services portfolio – from sourcing to delivery.
To review, and enforce all processes related to digital services. Work with VAS aggregators ensuring high quality VAS services/ content are offered. Build program partnerships to support delivery of objectives and value of program to U9, partners and participants. To develop a culture, systems, processes and facilities to optimize outputs from the Digital services program and protect them from negative corporate influences
Context
This Department will be responsible for executing and implementing consumer business strategy and building brand affinity and connect in order to achieve growth in customer market share and revenue market share; through focus on the various business and distribution channels and customer experience. It will develop and execute the company's digital and U9 strategy covering the consumer segment, improving user engagement and value through consumer understanding, product innovation, integrated marketing & communications, pricing, strategic bundling and customer lifetime value management.
This is a marketing & business operations role where the candidate would be a vital part of the digital products team and work alongside various teams within U9 towards achieving U9's overall vision
C. ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Contribution to the development of overall Digital products strategy, plan, and roadmap that drive Content products revenue and supports product performance for individual and corporate customers
- Assist in the development of Digital products strategy, plan, and roadmap to required stakeholders
- Research and analyse new product opportunities/initiatives / innovations and ensure they are aligned with corporate strategy and direction to support the achievement of content strategy and plan
- Guide and perform product development and enhancement activities to meet customer demand being accountable for all aspects of product launch to market with support from IT/Technology departments (if needed)
- Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of content products performance, and product performance feedback is communicated to related parties for improvement
- Effectiveness in partnership management from acquisition, onboarding, roadmap planning and day-to-day KPI tracking in order to achieve product roadmap
- Collaborate with relevant Product Marketing functions in regards to the development and management of policies in relation to product pricing structures (e.g. product charging priority), as well as setting up pricing for digital content products and services in line with pricing framework set by Pricing function
- Support the development and management of BTL, social and partner-driven campaigns for Digital services
- Develop forecasting of content products demand and technology capacity demand and ensure they are provided to Product functions and related parties
- Handle issues related to Digital products to ensure all inquiries, issues, and complaints are handled according to company's policy and agreements
- Collaborate with other departments/teams to facilitate analysis and identify process improvement/cost reduction opportunities
- Advise management and set objectives and direction, in regards to own area of expertise, to support management in decision-making processes
- Translate high-level product concepts to product brief and specifications and ensure the completion of functional specifications developed by IT/Technology department
- Coordinate with related parties to ensure partners (OTTs, strategic partners, content partners, media partners, Loan Service Providers) are managed with alignment to defined policy, terms and conditions
- Develop and enhance mobile applications and portals to drive data usage and revenue
- Manage end-to-end UAT activities, in relation to Digital services
- Monitor the handling of issues in relation to internet-based content products to ensure its alignment to company's defined policy
- Report all issues/variances with planned work to ensure any activities outside normal procedures are communicated in a timely and accurate manner
- Continuously update oneself with changes in related trends, which affect tools, processes, systems, and frameworks relevant to the role, in order to maintain knowledge levels required to perform complicated tasks
- Develop and maintain operational reports to monitor performance and focus attention for growth
- Take ownership of rotating product categories, driving growth through market demand and innovative strategies.

F. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge
- 5 – 7 years of experience in Digital Portfolio Management
- Telco experience or large IT corporate experience preferred.
- Experience in a marketing/product management function preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal skills – able to communicate with technical leads, designers, marketers, and executives
Minimum Entry Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's degree or relevant certifications in Digital Services, Product Management, or Telecom Business is a plus.
- Fluent English language
