Job Description

We are seeking a Category Manager - Intellectual Services to oversee all purchasing categories of intellectual services at the Group level for Eramet. Reporting to the Director of Indirect Purchasing, you will be the strategic reference for a purchasing portfolio representing a significant volume of international expenses. You will deploy innovative purchasing strategies, manage a network of buyers across the Group's various sites, and act as the key contact for business departments regarding all issues related to intellectual services.

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Needs Analysis

  • Analyze expenses by category, country, and region to identify optimization and pooling opportunities
  • Define and implement purchasing strategies tailored to each category of intellectual services, aligned with the Group's priorities
  • Support site buyers in operational implementation

Sourcing, Negotiation & Contracting

  • Build and optimize a panel of qualified suppliers that comply with the Group's CSR and ethical requirements
  • Lead tenders and conduct complex, high-stakes negotiations
  • Draft and manage framework contracts throughout their lifecycle, in collaboration with the Legal Department

Supplier Performance & Governance

  • Define and monitor supplier KPIs, evaluate the satisfaction of Eramet's departments and sites
  • Provide regular reporting to the Purchasing Department, contribute to annual budgets, and ensure compliance with the Group's CSR and ethical policies

Management & Operational Excellence

  • Supervise and develop a team of 2 lead buyers (technical studies, technical assistance, and engineering)
  • Promote best practices and capitalize on synergies between subsidiaries

Your Profile:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or Business School.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in IT product management, business analysis or IT project management, ideally in an international industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IT architectures, APIs, integrations and data management; familiarity with CSR/compliance regulations is a plus.
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-site and multi-country IT projects.
  • Cross-functional leadership, excellent communication skills, rigour and a strong sense of ethics.
  • Fluent English is required.
