The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Category Manager to lead the strategic direction of its dry food category. This is a demanding but rewarding role requiring a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in driving sales growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and executing category strategies that maximize sales and profitability.
• Managing the full merchandising lifecycle, from negotiation and purchasing to stock control and promotional activities.
• Conducting thorough market analysis to identify opportunities and mitigate competitive threats.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Utilizing data analysis to inform decision-making and optimize category performance.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in FMCG merchandising (candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Category Officer).
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
