We are looking for a Category Manager to lead the strategic sourcing and category management of Data Centre Building Equipment, Monitoring Systems, and Utilities across the region. The role is responsible for developing sourcing strategies, driving cost optimization, managing supplier performance, and ensuring supply continuity while partnering closely with business stakeholders.

How You will Make An Impact:

Strategic Sourcing

  • Develop and implement category strategies for Building Equipment, Monitoring Systems (e.g. BMS/EMS), Solar Power, Lift/Hoist Systems, and Utilities.
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activities including RFx, supplier evaluation, commercial negotiations, TCO analysis, and contract negotiations.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through spend analysis, market intelligence, and stakeholder engagement.

Supplier & Category Management

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers to drive performance and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct supplier performance reviews and business reviews to deliver value-added initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, supply risks, and category performance, and recommend sourcing strategies to support business objectives.

Procurement Governance & Operations

  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and governance standards.
  • Drive process improvements through data analytics, spend analysis, and procurement best practices.
  • Provide procurement guidance to internal stakeholders and support reporting on category performance.

Skills for Success:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in procurement and category management, preferably within the Data Centre, Construction, M&E, Facilities Management, or Industrial sectors.
  • Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and delivering measurable cost savings.
  • Knowledge of Building Equipment, Monitoring Systems (BMS/EMS), Utilities, or related infrastructure is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, and e-sourcing platforms (e.g. iValua).
  • Good understanding of procurement best practices and commercial contracts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in regional procurement or category management.
  • Knowledge of construction or M&E procurement.
  • Familiarity with AI tools to enhance procurement processes and sourcing efficiency.
