Job Description

The Worldwide Grocery Category Management team is looking for a Dairy Category Manager to curate selection for the multi-banner omnichannel Amazon Grocery business.

You will have accountability for business results of your product categories. Your direct responsibility will be to manage performance of your product portfolio including setting overall category strategy, curating product selection, developing promotional and marketing programs, driving sales and margin improvements and creating best-in-class customer experiences. You will be able to deliver results at both a strategic and tactical level across all aspects of the business.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer experience intuition, business and product sense, and a solid understanding of technical concepts. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. High judgment, ability to influence, analytical talent, exceptional communications, ability to move fast, and leadership are essential to success in this role.

Basic Qualifications


- 3+ years of with Excel experience
- 5+ years of retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience
- Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership
- Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements
- Experience with pricing and selection strategy
- Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
