As a Category Manager, you’ll own the performance of your categories, shaping how we deliver range, price and promotions for our South Island customers. You’ll use customer, market and commercial insights to make clear decisions that drive performance and improve outcomes.
Reporting to a Senior Category Manager, you’ll be part of our Merchandise team, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to deliver results. You’ll contribute to commercial decisions and negotiations, bringing together different views and helping move things forward.
This is a fixed-term role ending on August 2027 as current team member is covering another role in our Merch team – creating an awesome opportunity for someone to give the role a go!
Key accountabilities
You’ll likely be working in an FMCG or commercial role today, maybe already close to category, or looking to step into it. You’ll be someone who gets stuck in, builds good relationships, and follows things through. Ideally, you’ll also bring:
