Category Manager

We are currently seeking a Category Manager within logistics to run strategic sourcing projects, and drive value creation in close collaboration with strategic suppliers and internal stakeholders.

As a key team member, you will support the development of category strategies within logistics and contribute to value creation and optimization across categories and business areas. You will join our Group Procurement Logistics team where skilled and committed colleagues will help you onboard. You take ownership of your own category
In this position we are searching for a Category Manager, who can lead and develop our global categories. With steady hands you contribute in defining and implementing category strategies aligned to business needs - and deliver on both value and ESG targets for the category.
You have a natural data driven approach and gather and evaluate facts and engage internal stakeholders to define the business objectives, relevant projects and strategies. You are key responsible for all negotiations within the category, taking lead on the entire process from business case, RFx materials, to the final contract. The process will also be supported by your skilled colleagues making sure everything from data to legal matters is correct.

Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate has a solid business understanding and great skills in Category Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Contract Management and Supplier Innovation and is highly experienced in cross-functional collaboration. Furthermore, if you work data driven with a strategic focus, and if you have experience with complex data management and are result-oriented and strong-willed with a high level of energy and an optimistic mind, it´s close to being the ideal match.
