The Category FinanceManageristhe gatekeeper of the commercial cluster P&L of the ANZ portfolio. The roleownsthe IT&E and New Product Development business case development for its cluster and provides clusterfinancial reporting, supports the Cluster WIPandprovidesanalysis forthe Monthly Performance ReviewandForecasting processesItalso supportstheAnnualOperatingPlan, andworkscross-functionally (withSales Finance,Revenue Management, Category Development, Sales, Marketing and Operations) todeliver the year and plan the future

Key responsibilities

Delivering the Year

  • Preparing and analysing actualand forecastedperformanceusing variance analysis to arrive at root causesand action plans

  • Work cross-functionally with SalesandTrade Financeto vet financials of customer-facing opportunities and assess tradespend issues

  • Act as the gatekeeper of theclusterP&L by challengingthe salesteam tooptimizefinancial results and paybacks, develop and execute plans to control supply chain losses, costing analysis, andoversee portfolio initiatives such as new product development projects

  • Own and support the marketing heads of clusterto drive the P&L includinginNPDbuildingbusiness cases, running Cluster WIPanddelivering theinnovation pipeline

  • Addvalue to the business by ensuringcross-functional teamreceivestimelyinformation and understand its implication to support great business decisions

Corporate Reporting

  • Supportthe Monthly Performance Reporting, ensuring that business drivers ofclusterperformance vs plan and prior year are clearly understood and communicated to key stakeholdersusing Price Volume Mix analysis

  • Support the monthly forecasting processensuring that forecasts loaded by the ANZ sales team at cluster/category level are sensible vs. plan and prior periods

  • Supportthe annual budget process and presentation for the portfolio

Planning the Future

  • Preparing inputs for andanalysingfinancial forecast, Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Planincluding zero based budgeting

  • Own the business cases for new products and renovation/innovationprovidinga financial viewand coordinating inputs across the functions

  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing in development of innovation P&Ls

  • Work cross-functionally with Operations to enable complete business reporting and understanding

  • Perform assigned tasksin accordance withall Kraft Heinz Food Safety, Environmental, Health and Safety, and Ethical and Human Resources policies,programsand goals

  • Uphold the Kraft Heinz values and to work in a way that contributes to the company’s vision

What you'll bring

  • Advancedcomputer skills in Microsoft Exceland PowerPoint. Knowledge ofAccesshighly regarded

  • Systems knowledge such asTableau, Demantra, JDA, SAP,IRitools (i.e. Temple, UNIFY),Quantiumhighly regarded

  • 5+ year’s work experience that compliments financial training, experience in FCMGis desirable

  • Bachelor’sDegreeinAccountingFinanceorother numericaldiscipline

  • CA/CPA is desirable

  • Passionate and driven about delivering results

  • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen to assess data and arrive at root cause, with ability to succinctly explain key drivers to senior audience

  • Ability to business partner with head of clusters to drive both thelong termportfolioevolution andshort termdelivery of the P&L

  • Ability to think strategicallyabout dataand translate this thinking intothe “so what”

  • Problem-solving mentality with ability to navigate a high pace environment
