Amazon is seeking a dynamic problem solver and motivated Category Business Development Manager to help global international brands grow their business in India.

Amazon Global Selling is an important initiative to grow the Amazon Seller Business around the world, with the India OOC team focusing on helping international sellers list on Amazon India marketplace. This person will have the exciting opportunity to help deliver on a strategy to enable broad use of Amazon Services by small/medium sellers and large enterprises globally wishing to sell in India, and play a key role in influencing product selection . The objective of this position is to deliver on-going new business growth to Amazon's suite of seller services for businesses of all sizes by formulating a business strategy for the set of categories he/she is responsible for. This business will play an important role in Amazon’s mission to be the place where customers can find and discover anything they want to buy from across the world.

The objective of this position is to deliver business growth to existing international brands from across the world on Amazon India and to deliver new business growth to Amazon by delighting our customers in India.

Responsibilities will include helping define key business segments & clusters to target, establishing relationships with brand owners, and drive interactions with these companies in order to build long-term business opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have sales experience, capable of engaging with diverse contacts to effectively communicate Amazon's value proposition, capability to influence external stakeholders, ability to work in an environment with minimal supervision and comfortable working across multiple complex functions. The candidate should be comfortable interfacing with technology systems, and processes and be able to analyze data and gather actionable conclusions.

Key job responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include the following:

- Formulating long term road map for the categories the person is responsible for.
- Engage with internal and external customers/teams to improve products and business processes.
- Identify specific prospects/partners to approach, communicate the specific value proposition for their business and use case, and establish long-term, successful partnerships.
- Work closely with senior leaders in category and seller teams
- Review and monitor performance and sales of key partners to manage their performance.

- Combines a simplification mindset with big-picture thinking; takes calculated risks and drives innovation through creative, out-of-the-box solutions.
- Proactive and self-driven, with a bias for action—takes initiative, plans efficiently, and avoids analysis paralysis.
- Demonstrates consistent effort, strong ownership, and a willingness to go above and beyond to achieve goals.
- Collaborative team player who upholds high standards and remains focused on delivering impactful results.
- Experience in fashion, softlines categories is a plus.

About the team
The Out of Country to India (OOC2IN) team enables WW sellers and brands to sell on Amazon IN stores. India is a difficult place to do business due to stringent regulatory landscape. The brands therefore look to this team to provide them with guidance and solutions to enter India.

Basic Qualifications


- 3+ years of sales experience
- Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
- Experience closing sales and generating revenue

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience influencing C-level executives
- Experience in ecommerce specially in beauty, fashion or any softlines categories
