Get to Know the Role

In this role, you will play a key part in managing product categories, analyzing performance metrics, and supporting strategic initiatives that drive business growth. You will be based in our Jakarta office. You will be reporting to the manager.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Analyze category sales data, trends, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and optimization
• Maintain accurate and organized category documentation, including product information, pricing, and promotional materials
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including merchandising, operations, and marketing to ensure category alignment and execution
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing strategies, and market trends to inform category recommendations
• Support inventory management initiatives by tracking stock levels and identifying optimization opportunities
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on category performance for stakeholder review
• Ensure compliance with category standards, policies, and procedures across all assigned product lines
• Assist with category planning and forecasting activities to support business objectives
• Respond to inquiries and provide support to internal stakeholders regarding category-related matters

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• 2+ years of experience in category management, retail operations, merchandising, or a related field
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience working with large datasets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Familiarity with category management principles and retail operations
