Exciting opportunity to join our innovative and progressive Merchandise, assisting the Senior Category Manager with data analysis, administration of the categories, and supplier and store liaison, targeting Officeworks’ commitment to Low Prices and Best Experience.
With a focus on product lifecycle management, pricing and web management, and supplier support and administration, this role will give you variety and opportunity to grow and develop your merchandise experience as the key Merchandise contact for internal and external teams. You will undertake competitor and market monitoring and analysis, manage web content, prepare supplier and product registration information and assist with a range of marketing and supply related tasks.
This role is ideal for someone who has just as much passion for product as they do for numbers and data, and who is excited to accelerate their career in retail and category management.
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum 2-3 years experience in a retail, buying or store support role with strong administrative skills and capabilities. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you have the opportunity to use your attention to detail and initiative to proactively coordinate the daily tasks required to effectively support the management of our offering.
Financially savvy, you enjoy numbers and understand commercials. You will have established computer skills, strong competence using Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and be able to adapt quickly to new systems including SAP, claim management systems, and product information management systems.
A superb communicator, you love building strong, effective relationships and know how to engage stakeholders.
