Accountabilities

In this role, you will turn data into strategic insights that support commercial growth and category performance. You will work closely with sales, category management, and cross-functional teams to analyze trends, identify opportunities, and support decision-making across retailers and product portfolios.

• Leverage syndicated data tools such as SPINS, Nielsen, and similar platforms to generate insights, dashboards, and recommendations that support sales and category strategy.
• Support ongoing category reporting needs and partner with leadership on recurring performance analysis to identify risks, trends, and growth opportunities.
• Contribute to sales forecasting by analyzing historical performance and identifying key growth drivers and distribution opportunities.
• Lead analytical support for key initiatives including retailer performance reviews, assortment optimization, promotions, and new product launches.
• Translate complex datasets into clear business narratives, highlighting the “so what” and actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to clarify business questions, structure analyses, and prioritize high-impact initiatives.
• Manage multiple concurrent analytical requests while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and business relevance.

Requirements

This position requires strong analytical expertise combined with the ability to communicate insights clearly and influence business decisions. You should be comfortable working in a fast-moving, data-rich environment and translating numbers into strategic recommendations.

• 3–5+ years of experience in category management, sales analytics, or commercial data analysis, ideally within the CPG industry.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience using syndicated data sources such as SPINS, Nielsen, or similar tools.
• Ability to interpret complex datasets and turn them into clear, actionable business insights and recommendations.
• Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to present insights across written, verbal, and visual formats.
• Experience framing business questions and structuring analyses to support decision-making.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence interacting across levels of seniority.
• Self-starter mindset with curiosity, adaptability, and comfort working in a dynamic, evolving environment.
