Pickering area - Casual Transitional Support Professional within Pickering, ON. Casual wage is $25.44. This location is not on a typical bus route.

TRANSITIONAL SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL

As part of the clinical duties, the Transitional Support Professional may be required to provide reports on clinical interventions. They liaise with clinical professionals, collect appropriate data, and actively carry out appropriately prescribed programs & treatments to address the clinical, behavioural and/or mental health needs of people supported.

Skill Requirements:

• Educational requirement of Developmental Service Worker or apprenticeship actively in process, Child and Youth Care Diploma or apprenticeship actively in process, or Diploma or Degree in a Related Human Services Field.
• current valid G driver's license

Experience Required:

• Behavioural Support Plan
• supporting people interacting with the Criminal Justice System, dual diagnosis, autism, and FASD
• supports to people who do not use words to communicate

Ability Required:

• Current NVCI, Safe Management, First Aid/CPR
• able to perform restraints
• able to perform CPR
• able to provide personal care which may include lifting, bending and/or twisting
