As a Casual Support Worker, you'll make a real difference in your community by supporting clients to remain safe, independent, and connected in their own homes. Every day is different, with opportunities to provide practical assistance, companionship, and encouragement that empowers people to live life on their terms.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities May Include:

  • Personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
  • Domestic assistance including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment.
  • Supporting social and community participation, including appointments, shopping, and outings.
  • Assisting clients to develop daily living skills and maintain independence.
  • Medication assistance and transport support (where appropriately trained and authorised).
  • Providing respite care and supporting clients with varying physical, emotional, or behavioural needs.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Available 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible working arrangements to suit your lifestyle)
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • QLD C/CA Driver’s Licence + reliable vehicle
  • Compassionate and client-centred approach
  • Strong communication and resilience in varied situations
  • Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support or equivalent
  • Experience in personal care, manual handling, and behavioural support
  • Medication administration competency
