
Position Title: Casual Seasonal Field Agent, School Transportation
Reports To: Education Associate, School Transportation
Description of Position: The Casual Seasonal Field Agent, School Transportation assists the Education Associate of School Transportation in continuing the office mission of safe and efficient transportation. This position ensures the transportation mission is met by conducting statewide regulation compliance monitoring; contract and record auditing; financial monitoring, coordination, and reconciliation.
Education: Associate's degree in business, accounting, management, logistics, transportation, education or related field required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Salary Range: $41.29 to $64.89 per hour. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's education and experience in accordance with the Department of Education's compensation policy. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, participation in the state retirement program, annual, sick, and personal leave, and supplemental benefits options. Direct deposit of payroll checks is a condition of state employment, and employees are paid on a lag pay schedule with the first payment made after approximately one month of employment.
Casual/seasonal employment is offered to assist agencies on a temporary basis and the duration of employment is determined by the needs of the agency, available funding and job performance.
