We're looking for a Casual Retail Salesperson to join the team at our Marton store.

Whether you're helping a farmer find the right product, unloading stock, or keeping the store looking its best, no two days are the same.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing outstanding customer service to our shareholders and customers

  • Assisting customers with a wide range of rural, farming, lifestyle and retail products

  • Processing sales and operating our point of sale (POS) system

  • Replenishing stock and creating attractive product displays

  • Supporting the team with inventory, ordering and general store administration

  • Helping maintain a safe, tidy and well-presented store environment

You'll enjoy working with people, take pride in providing great service, and be happy rolling up your sleeves to get the job done.

You'll ideally bring:

  • A positive attitude and strong customer service focus

  • Retail, customer service, or sales experience

  • Good communication and relationship-building skills

  • Confidence using computers and point-of-sale systems

  • A willingness to learn about our products and customers

  • The ability to carry out the physical requirements of the role, including lifting and carrying items such as bags of stock and animal feed

Bonus points if you also have:

  • A forklift licence

  • A current first aid certificate

  • Experience in the rural, agricultural, horticultural or trade sectors
