Cricket NSW (CNSW) is focused on leading and growing the game throughout the state. We oversee all cricket from elite professional teams to community, school, and social cricket programs. As a purpose and people led organisation, CNSW aims to inspire everyone to play and love cricket.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Casual Program Coordinators are responsible for facilitating the delivery of our junior cricket programs and experiences within schools, clubs and the wider community. You will play such an important role in growing cricket participation in the community.

This is a casual role, hours of work vary week to week based on the needs of cricket blast programs in the area.

In this role you will:

  • Coordinate and deliver engaging programs that teach important cricket skills to children in schools and clubs
  • Promote community engagement throughout schools during the cricket season
  • Provide in person quality delivery, engagement & support of School programs including Health and PE, Sporting Schools, Mascot Challenge and School Cups
  • Assist and expand participation in Club based entry level programs including CNSW Cricket Blast Centres
  • Build, maintain and leverage relationships with local schools and school ambassadors

ABOUT YOU

  • Energetic, enthusiastic and imaginative
  • Reliable and willing to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage, develop and sustain stakeholder relationships
  • Be flexible and adaptable to a changing schedule
  • Have a valid or be willing to acquire a Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Have your own form of transport (car)
  • A background in teaching and/or cricket is desirable but not necessary
  • A Valid First Aid Certificate
