Current available position is for the Gettysburg campus

Provide and help to integrate effective learning and study strategies for their assigned students, while at the same time helping to clarify and/or reinforce course content, assignments and material.

Minimum Qualifications:

H.S. Diploma or equivalent. *Or a combination of experience and education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

Hiring Range: $15.00

Preferred Qualifications: One semester of Tutoring experience at the college level.

Job Specific Task List:

• Facilitate one-on-one and group tutorial sessions tailored to meet student needs for content and learning styles. - (Essential)
• Make appropriate student referrals to college office, departments or professionals when necessary. - (Essential)
• Develop a good understanding and knowledge of college services, supports, and resources. - (Essential)
• Maintain accurate and up to date records of tutoring sessions. - (Essential)
• Participate in all tutor trainings - (Essential)
• Other duties as assigned - (Standard)

Job Type: Part-Time (less than 1,000 hours)
