About the role

We are seeking a driven and collaborative Retail Merchandiser to lead in-store execution across a defined territory, representing key client brands. You’ll build trusted relationships with independent grocery retailers, challenge conventional approaches, and drive sales growth that benefits both our clients and their retail partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, transparent relationships with store owners and managers.
  • Deliver best-in-class merchandising standards, ensuring products are visible, shoppable, and aligned to planogram and category principles.
  • Execute displays, secondary placements, and promotional activity to maximise in-store impact and sales performance.
  • Identify and secure opportunities to improve shelf presence, ranging, distribution, and category growth.
  • Use category insights, sales data, and store observations to influence merchandising decisions and drive performance.
  • Collaborate with BDMs to ensure seamless execution of MSO plans and in-store growth initiatives.
  • Plan and manage your territory effectively to maximise call productivity, execution quality, and customer outcomes.
  • Monitor compliance, resolve execution gaps, and maintain high standards of store presentation across your territory.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous retail/FMCG experience highly regarded but not essential
  • Proven ability to build trust-based commercial relationships.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic digital tools.
  • Comfortable working independently and on the move.
  • Great attitude and willingness to learn essential!
