Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform professional and scientific research for extramurally supported tasks.
• Responsible for neural network simulations with large data sets.
• Produce finite element modeling of manufacturing processes.
• Participate in research meetings as assigned.
• Draft documentation (i.e., test reports, technical documents, final reports)

Minimum Qualifications

• MS in Engineering or related field.
• Ability to generate independent research reports, publications and grant proposals.
• The ability to effectively communicate.
• Experience in AI/machine learning

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with finite element software.
• Experience in metallurgical sample preparation.
• Experience with optical and scanning electron microscopy.
• Demonstrated technical communication and writing within a project team.
