Join CBH Group’s Laboratory Team for an Exciting Harvest Season!

Located in Forrestfield, the Australian Grains Centre team is inviting applications for the following casual positions to assist during our peak period.

• Grain Technicians (Physical Lab)
• Laboratory Technicians (Reference Lab)

These casual positions will commence from November, with potential for earlier start dates depending on operational needs.

Responsibilities include:

Grain Technicians (Physical Lab)

• Sample registration, collection, processing, and dispatch - processing both upcountry and port samples
• Various grain quality assessments as required from internal and external customers
• Adhering to laboratory policies and procedures
• Ensure high standard of quality and consistency in analytical testing

Laboratory Technicians (Reference Lab)

• Sample preparation for LCMS based chemical residue analysis
• Carrying out other quality tests as required such as gluten analysis, oil content analysis, LECO protein analysis and GM strip testing
• Recording and reporting certain quality results

About you:

• Attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Demonstrated organisational and time management skills

Desirable:

• Previous experience within a NATA accredited lab
• Forklift licence Highly desirable
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• CBH Sampling certificate
