Established in 2010, the Navitas English Test Centre (NETC) works in partnerships with major testing organisations to administer and deliver a range of internationally recognised examinations at our test centres in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth. Every year NETC delivers tens of thousands of tests to candidates. Navitas English Test Centre partners include Cambridge University Press & Assessment, Educational Testing Service and Pearson VUE.

CASUAL Computer-based exam Invigilator

Looking for bright, friendly and professional casual staff for computer-based English Language tests in the Perth CBD. All training will be provided. New staff ideally will be available for at least 3 exam sessions each fortnight. There is no fixed roster, although we do our best to provide regular sessions.

Session times are either 3.5 hrs or 3.75 hrs long:

Mon – Fri 8:30 am to 12:15 pm, 12:45 pm to 4:15 pm, 4:45 pm to 8:15 pm.

Sat: 7:45 am to 11:30 am, 12:00 pm to 3:30 pm, 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm

Qualifications

Essential criteria:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to adhere to test day regulations and procedures
  • Sound working knowledge of English
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of both test procedures and candidate information
  • Professional presentation
  • Sound customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of de-escalation techniques
  • Awareness and understanding of cultural issues
  • Competent computer skills
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Eligibility for Blue Card (Working with Children)

Desirable criteria:

  • Current or previous certification as Pearson TA and/or TOEFL iBT TCA
  • Experience as an invigilator or supervisor of formal exams
