What you’ll be doing…
• Generating new business through proactive outreach, networking, and market development to drive conference and event sales.
• Responding to incoming enquiries and converting them into confirmed bookings.
• Delivering compelling venue tours and sales presentations that showcase the Wetland Centre’s unique offer.
• Building and nurturing strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies, local businesses, and community partners.
• Representing the venue at industry events and networking opportunities to increase market visibility.
• Managing your CRM pipeline, ensuring accurate reporting and effective follow up activity.
• Working closely with operations and catering teams to ensure seamless delivery of all confirmed events while meeting revenue targets.

What can you bring?
• Proven experience in venue, events, hospitality, or hotel sales, with the ability to convert opportunities into results.
• Strong relationship building and negotiation skills, paired with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Confidence in presenting to a range of clients and stakeholders.
• A proactive, self driven approach with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
• Experience effectively managing a sales pipeline and maintaining accurate CRM records.
• A friendly, confident, and positive communication style that builds trust.
• High levels of organisation, attention to detail, and a creative mindset for developing new business opportunities.
