Join Sparkway's busy casual relief team - work at our sessional kindergartens in the Northern & Wetern suburbs

  • $37.00 to $41.50 per hour - subject to experience & qualifications
  • Many shifts available if you can accept shifts at 6.00 am and start work by 8.30 am on the same day
  • Western Suburbs Footscray, Maribyrnong, Tarneit, Point Cook, Melton, Thornhill and 8 other locations in Western Suburbs
  • Northern Suburbs: Beveridge, Donnybrook, Mernda, Doreen, Thomastown and Mill Park

Eligibility to apply

  • Completed qualifications - Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Minimium of 1 year of experience in in long day care kindergarten room, or sessional kindegarten
  • Confident and experienced in working with shilcren with additional needs
  • Available at least three (3) days per week to accept shifts, in most week
  • Rapid Response -preference if you can accept shifts at 6.00 am and start work by 8.30 am on the same day
  • Available for 8 hour shift starting at 8.00 am
  • Positive references from your Centre Directors or Nominated Supervisors over the last 5 years
  • People describe you as child-centred, dependable, confident, competent, positive and energetic
  • You love working with children, and are eager to work with different groups, educators and teachers

NOTE: If you have worked at any of our kindergartens or early learning centres through an Agency in the last 12 months, we are not able to accept your application

About The Royal Children's Hospital

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.

When it comes to training and research we partner with the very best. Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville.
