Casual Civil Labourer – Maryborough, Victoria

Due to continued growth and exciting new opportunities within the region, we are seeking motivated Casual Civil Labourers to join our team in Maryborough, Victoria and support the successful delivery of upcoming projects.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general civil labouring duties onsite as directed, including trenching, spotting, backfilling, site clean-up, use of hand tools, and assisting operators.
• Support the delivery of daily tasks in line with site safety requirements and project needs.
• Participate in Daily Pre-Starts and follow instructions regarding tasks, hazards, and control measures.
• Follow direction from Supervisors, Leading Hands, and Machine Operators.
• Work safely and in accordance with SWMS, design requirements, and site procedures.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive culture onsite, including reporting hazards, near misses, incidents, and unsafe conditions.
• Assist with maintaining safe work areas, site cleanliness, and housekeeping tasks.
• Operate hand tools and small plant/equipment within competency and training.
• Work collaboratively as part of a crew to achieve daily production targets.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Construction White Card (mandatory).
• Previous civil construction or labouring experience preferred but not essential.
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour.
• Ability to safely use manual hand tools.
• Strong work ethic — punctual, reliable, and willing to learn.
• A positive attitude and ability to work well within a team environment.
• Commitment to workplace safety and following procedures.
