The Role:

At KU, we value professionalism, collaboration and respectful relationships with children, colleagues and families. We are looking for casual educators who demonstrate KU’s values, act with integrity, take pride in their work and are committed to supporting children during their early years.

We are currently seeking passionate, committed, flexible and qualified Certificate III Child Care Educators who are eager to join our KU Casual team and contribute to our established and thriving KU service in Cobbitty, NSW.

As a Casual Child Care Educator with KU Children’s Services, you will:

  • Have experience working in early childhood education and care settings.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
  • Be committed to providing high-quality, play-based education and care that supports children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
  • Support permanent educators in creating safe, engaging, inclusive and nurturing environments for children.
  • Assist with daily routines and educational experiences that encourage children’s curiosity, independence and sense of belonging.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, reliability and a positive attitude when responding to the needs of the service.
  • Enjoy flexible casual working arrangements while contributing to a supportive and collaborative team.

Of course, you will need:

  • Current NSW Employee Working with Children Check.
  • Recognised the completion of Certificate III qualification or equivalent as approved by ACECQA
  • Completed training in Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children.
  • Completed National Child Safe Training completed via GECCKO.
  • Related experiences in Early Childhood Education settings for the purposed role.
  • Right to work in Australia.
  • Ability to provide 2 current professional Childcare References.
