As a Casual Bar Host, you'll be at the heart of creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our residents. This casual evening role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, and making every visit to the bar a memorable one.

What you'll be serving up...

As a Bar Host, you will help create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for residents and visitors within our bar and café environment.

• Serve drinks, snacks, and refreshments with a friendly and engaging approach
• Build relationships with residents, remembering preferences and helping everyone feel welcome
• Assist with the general cleaning and tidying of the work environment
• Support team members with various duties as required
• Help with the receipt, storage, and replenishment of stock and supplies
• Operate tills and handle cash accurately in line with company procedures
• Assist with the delivery of quizzes, themed evenings, live music events, and other activities
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
• Follow health and safety, food safety, and licensing guidelines and company policies
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, visitors, and colleagues

• Patience, kindness, and enjoyment of working with older people

• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices
• Positive attitude and reliability
• Availability for evening and weekend shifts
• Bar or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
