About the opportunity

Join Mercy Hospital for Women as a Casual Bank Midwife and work across a variety of specialist areas with a collaborative and dynamic team. We are a public Specialist Teaching Hospital in Heidelberg. You will play an integral role whilst working in motivated clinical teams. Shifts are available in Birth Suites, Post-Natal / Antenatal wards, Fetal Monitoring, Outpatients, HDU, and the Emergency Department. Education support will be provided, and you will:

  • Play an integral role in a motivated clinical team with a family-centered care approach
  • Provide best-practice patient care as a member of the multidisciplinary team
  • Have a choice of shifts, to work a minimum of 2 shifts per month

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • A current Police Record Check and a Working with Children Check.
  • Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination, and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
