Other Conditions: Casual Hire temporary appointment is expected to begin September 2026, or soon thereafter. Not to exceed one year.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assists the Head Coach and Volleyball Program with:
a. Developing a program that will be competitive in the Pacific West Conference.
b. Successfully recruiting and retaining academically and athletically motivated student athletes who will have a positive impact on the program and campus.
c. Planning, scheduling, and conducting team practices and workouts.
d. Organizing clinics and participating in community projects.

2. Responsible for ordering, keeping inventory and maintenance of uniforms, supplies, and equipment.
3. Responsible for field maintenance and field improvement.
4. Responsible for completing and submitting all required compliance forms and timely submission of CARA and recruit logs.
5. Know and abide by the rules, regulations and policies of the University of Hawaii, the Athletics Department, the Pacific West Conference, and the NCAA.
6. Perform other duties/functions as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  1. Possession of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in any field; or any equivalent combination of education and/or coaching experience which provides the required education, knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated.
  2. Proficiency in Google Docs, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
  3. Ability to travel in-state and out-of-state.
Desirable Qualifications:
  1. Prior NCAA DII coaching experience.
  2. Experience coaching Volleyball at the collegiate level.
