About This Opportunity
This is a call for applicants for Casual academics inthe School of Political Science and International Studiesin support of our course offerings in Semester 2 2026
Casual academics will typically be engaged in a range of duties, including (but not limited to) tutoring; marking; teaching andmoderating/facilitating Casual academics are remunerated according to the category of their duties, as detailed in UQ’s Enterprise Agreement.
Please click here for a list of POLS courses, plus one PPES course which arelikely to need tutors. Please indicate a maximum of six courses you are interested in teaching intoAlthough you will be asked to state why you have picked a course your response is optional.
NB: Tutoring opportunities are reliant on course enrolment numbers and some courses at postgraduate level may not attract sufficient enrolments to require a tutor.
