Job Description

Work Schedule:

1.0 FTE, day shift, 8 hour shifts scheduled Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. You will work onsight at East Madison Hospital at 4602 Eastpark Blvd, Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Casting Technician to:

  • Join our orthopedic surgeons who provide a full range of surgical services.
  • Provide quality care in a compassionate and patient-family centered environment.
  • Apply and remove casts, braces, and splints.
  • Perform suture removal and minor wound care.
  • Promote healthy lifestyles, wellness, and education.

Qualifications

  • No minimum education Required
  • Educational courses related to casting Preferred

Work Experience

  • Prior experience as a Casting Technician, Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Orthopedic Surgical Technician and other related profession Required

Licenses & Certifications

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Upon Hire Required
