The Casting Producer manages the end-to-end casting process for productions, ensuring the right talent is identified, evaluated, and secured to meet creative, schedule, and budget requirements. This role partners closely with creative leadership and production teams to translate casting needs into actionable plans and deliver high-quality talent outcomes under tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end casting for assigned productions or episodes
• Translate creative briefs into casting criteria and outreach plans
• Source, screen, and evaluate talent through auditions and submissions
• Coordinate auditions, callbacks, and chemistry reads
• Partner with directors, producers, and clients on casting decisions
• Manage talent availability, holds, and booking logistics
• Coordinate with production on schedules, budgets, and requirements
• Maintain casting databases, records, and release documentation

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in casting, production, or talent-related roles
• Proven experience running auditions and casting workflows
• Strong understanding of production timelines and constraints
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Skills

• Experience in unscripted, or commercial casting environments
• Ability to source from untraditional means
• Established talent or agent network
• Familiarity with union rules and talent agreements
• Experience working across fast-paced production schedules
