Full-Time | 2nd Shift M-Tu Off | Must be a current Maintenance Associate
Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the direction and management of the maintenance and grounds staff. You will report to the Maintenance/Facilities Manager.
Primary Tasks:
1. You will perform manual labor and experienced work in the maintenance of building facilities, hotel and grounds which include construction and repair of electrical, mechanical, masonry and carpentry.
2. Assign and oversee the work of the maintenance staff to ensure the completion of work orders in the repair, and improvement of facilities.
3. You will inspect work done by the maintenance crew to ensure standards are met, scheduling, training and conducting performance management including administering reviews and addressing sub-standard performance.
4. Collaborate with department managers for the cleaning and maintenance needs of each department.
5. You will be responsible for managing inventory and security of supplies.
6. Review invoices to ensure accurate pricing and verify that correct items are received.
7. Collaborate with contractors for HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical to fulfill needs of the Casino.
8. Respond and resolve emergency maintenance facility needs or issues involving safety, security and general requirements.
9. Resolve customer, employee and management concerns regarding facility maintenance.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Prior Industrial or Commercial Maintenance and management experience.
· Understand government public health and, or safety regulations.
· May need technical backgrounds or licensing in one or more areas such as Electrical/Plumbing/HVAC.
· One (1) year prior maintenance experience.
