The Casino Host is responsible for building relationships with guests and growth of our Player Database. The Casino Host will work closely with all casino departments to develop a property wide relationship and provide superior guest service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide personalized services to guests, focused solely on players that meet the criteria of Eagle Mountain Casino Host program.
- Pursue prospective players and sell the Summit Club program and all products offered property wide.
- Monitor the system to confirm qualified players are present and actively walk the floor to ensure the best service daily.
- Maintains Club Member assigned list and build relations with assigned guests through daily phone calls, mail and in person communication/service.
- Extend complimentary services to our guests within the established guidelines set by management.
- Monitor player activity through use of the on-line system and reports provided by management. .
- Notify VIP players through telemarketing and letter writing about services available, promotional opportunities, special events and resolve guest complaints, etc. to ensure guest retention and repeat business.
- Work special events servicing VIP players.
- Assist with the planning, execution, and evaluation of player parties, promotions, special events and tournaments.
- Compile valuable feedback pertaining to guest preferences and their expectations and relate that information to the management team.
- Work as a team with Slot, Table Games, Transportation, Cage and Summit Club personnel to provide stellar guest relations.
- All other departmental specific duties as assigned by Management.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent. Some college a plus.
- Two (2) years experience in operational gaming plus (3) years in a guest service position in gaming or the hospitality industry.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing and have superior guest relations skills.
- Computer literate, including Microsoft office, internet and e-mail and the ability to use, understand and explain the player tracking systems in conjunction with complimentary guidelines.
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
- Must have the ability to analyze information in the player tracking database system to make appropriate decisions.
- Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license though the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL:
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk and sit.
- Repeatedly required to reach with hands and arms, use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
- Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
- Ability to move easily and quickly through the slot and table games areas.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Noise level is moderate to loud on casino floor.
- Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
