Job Shift: GraveyardPrimary Function
The Casino Floor Supervisor oversees daily casino floor operations to ensure compliance with gaming regulations, company policies, and exceptional guest service standards. This role supervises gaming staff, resolves guest concerns, monitors gaming activity, and supports revenue integrity while maintaining a safe, fair, and enjoyable gaming environment.

Essential Responsibilities
All job duties are to be performed in accordance with Company Policies & Procedures and other legal regulations and requirements. Essential responsibilities include the following and please note that additional duties may be assigned at a future date:
- Supervise and coordinate daily casino floor operations across assigned gaming areas. Monitor table games to ensure adherence to internal controls, gaming regulations, and company policies.
- Lead, coach, and support dealers, and other floor staff; provide real-time feedback and corrective guidance. Address and resolve guest inquiries, complaints, and disputes promptly and professionally.
- Observe gameplay to detect irregularities, cheating, or procedural deviations; escalate issues as required. Verify payouts, jackpots, fills/credits, and game openings/closings in accordance with procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to incidents, variances, and operational activities. Enforce responsible gaming practices and promote a welcoming, inclusive environment.
- Collaborate with Security, Surveillance, Compliance, and Management to ensure floor integrity and safety. Assist with scheduling, breaks, and staffing coverage to meet operational needs. Support special events, promotions, and peak-period operations.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training subordinates; planning,
assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Monitor and consistently enforce all Meal Break and Rest Break policies for staff; review scheduling of meal breaks, audit meal break time keeping, and gathering applicable waivers.
- Responsible for optimizing subordinate performance levels through continual feedback, training, and enforcing positive behavior; work collaboratively with employees to ensure the team meets performance standards and uphold the Company’s core values.
- Provide a fun, superior gaming and dining experience by greeting guests as they enter the Casino, and inform them of the types of games, limits, tournaments, promotions, and seating availability; assist them in obtaining seating, gaming chips, food, and drink. Treat each guest as though they were a guest in your home and make them feel welcome.
- Ensure a smooth and profitable flow of all gaming-related duties by properly staffing and documenting each shift according to business needs, and relaying information regarding potential shift issues to the incoming Shift Manager; maintain and oversee all dealer rotations and incorporate meal and rest periods.
- Provide a high level of game protection for the integrity of the game by consistently enforcing “Player Conduct Rules”; Monitor and Enforce Title 31 Suspicious Activity Reporting Policies and Procedures, Problem Gambling Policies and Procedures, Minimum Internal Control Standards and Procedures as set forth by the California Gambling Control Act, and all principles of R.A.B.S. (Responsible Alcoholic Beverage Service)
- Resolve disputes and guest complaints; diffuse problems by listening empathically to guests when they have complaints; follow up with guests by providing realistic solutions in a timely manner and making every effort to make the truly satisfied.
- Promote safety and lead employees by monitoring and enforcing the policies and procedures of the Stones Injury Illness and Prevention Plan; Report safety concerns to Human Resources, or Casino Manager.
- Attend annual BSA/AML training, as scheduled.

Education and/or

Experience: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondences, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: The ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Conditions of Employment
This job has conditions of employment essential to the position that include:
- - Must be able to successfully pass a thorough background check from the City of Citrus Heights in order to obtain a city work permit.
- - May be required to obtain and maintain a Key Employee License issued by the State of California Department of Justice Bureau of Gambling Control.
