Summary of Functions
Assists bartender with replenishment of supplies, glassware, ice, beverages and any other task that aids with efficient functionality of the bar for guest service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians - Internal Controls, and Northern Quest Policies and Procedures.
• Ensures all required supplies are well stocked and replenished during the shift, this may include liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice or glassware
• Assists with the breakdown and cleaning responsibilities at the end of each shift and/or service period
• Help maintain a clean and orderly guest service area by clearing, cleaning and resetting tables as needed
• Assist in setting up, operating and breakdown of the bar glass tender dish machine.
• Assists the bartender in setting up the bar and preparing necessary items for service. This could include items such as cutting fruit, replenishing garnishes and polishing glassware.
• Transports, moves around and changes out kegs of beer which can weigh up to 165 lbs.
• Transports and changes out soda boxes, must be able to lift 45-55lbs shoulder height.
• Maintains beverage coolers in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Always available and in direct communication with Venue Bartenders and F&B Shift Supervisors throughout shift.
• May move or transport supplies using hand truck.
• Assists in maintenance and sanitation of soda rooms.
• Responsible for safe operation of all transport equipment. I.e.-Hand trucks, carts etc.
• Responsible for proper stacking, loading and unloading of all beverage and bar goods.
• Wears a back brace while lifting heavy product.
• Available and willing to work any changes in hours deemed necessary for business levels.
• Responsible for maintaining a good attendance record.
• May be required to be a panelist for the Internal Review Board Process.

Experience
• One to three months related experience and/or training helpful; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills & Abilities
• Skill in identifying and resolving problems under pressure conditions.
Education
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Other Requirements
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Work Permit.
• Food handler’s permit.
• Class 12 Mixologist Permit
• Hepatitis A vaccination.
• Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
Physical Demands
• Requires the ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Constantly requires the ability to give and receive detailed information through verbal communication.
• Constantly requires verbally expressing or exchanging ideas of essential instructions accurately, loudly, or quickly.
• Constantly requires working with fingers rather than the whole hand or arm.
• Constantly requires repetitive movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Requires walking or moving about to accomplish tasks.
• Requires standing and/or sitting for sustained periods.
• Requires ascending or descending stairs or ramps using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
• Occasionally requires raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally.
• Requires stooping, which entails the use of the lower extremities and back muscles.
• Occasionally requires crouching.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to tobacco smoke, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. The worker is frequently subject to inside environmental conditions, which protect from weather conditions, but not necessarily from temperature changes, and is occasionally subject to outside environmental conditions and wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
