The Casino Cashier is responsible for all cash transactions within Eagle Mountain Casino Cage Department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verify daily bankroll at time of issue.
• Ensure policies and procedures are applied consistently, equitably, and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform all duties as needed.
• Perform all exchange functions of cash for cash, tickets, chips, coin, credit cards and checks.
• Use coin redemption machine; change bags.
• Sign and maintain all receipts for paper and bank accurately and efficiently.
• Reconcile and balance all cash, and daily receipts at the end of shift.
• Inform on-coming shift Team Members of unique situations concerning guests.
• Must attend and be certified in all applicable training programs required.
• Performs all other departmental duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• The minimum age requirement is 21.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cash handling experience required.
• Casino/gaming cashier experience, preferred.
• Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills a must.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong math skills are a must.
• Familiarity with computers required.
• Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL

• While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is required to talk and hear.
• Regularly required to reach with hands and arms, use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Occasionally required to and to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must be able to operate mentally and physically in fast paced stressful environment.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
• The noise level is moderate to high on the casino floor.
• Exposed daily to flashing lights, ringing bells, and cigarette smoke associated with a casino type of atmosphere.
• Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
