Cashier/Service Valet- Mazda Lakeland

Holler-Classic Family of Dealerships, an Automotive News Top 150 dealership group with 12 dealerships serving the Central Florida market, has been proudly family-owned since 1938. Our Buy Smart – Be Happy® brand promises include Our Best Price First, Pure and Simple® and Commission-Free Sales.

We are looking for customer-focused individual to assist in our service department. This individual will assist around the department as a service valet, cashier, and any other additional tasks needed by the manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Contact customers after service visits to check on experience
  • Manage customer experience while in the dealership for service
  • Customer status updates
  • Check out customers when completing loaner agreements
  • Assist in check out process
  • Shuttling customers when needed
  • Assist and port vehicles on Service Drive as needed
  • Computes customer bills
  • Receives cash, checks and credit card payments from customers; records amount received
  • Makes change and issues receipts to customers
  • Reconciles cash drawer daily
  • Answers customer questions about service performed or products purchased, or refer them to someone who can
  • Handles customer complaints with integrity and poise and, when necessary, refers dissatisfied customers to the appropriate individuals for resolution
  • Provides clerical and secretarial assistance to departments as needed
  • Maintains a professional appearance
  • Keeps work area neat and clean
  • Other duties that may be assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, with the ability to manage multiple applications at once
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Prior sales/customer service experience a plus
  • Ability to learn and operate various computer programs.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Pass background screening requirements

From 1929 when General Motors Chairman, C.S. Mott, hired Bill to be Vice President of GM and General Sales Manager of Chevrolet until his retirement in 1945, Bill Holler earned a distinguished reputation as a tireless listener to the dealer, implementing trend-setting innovations and establishing programs to teach the fundamentals of auto sales and quality service still in use today. A believer that a good sales person is critical to our economy, Bill elevated the standards of our profession.
