Job Description

This position typically starts at $16per hour + tips and works a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Team members begin accruing PTO starting on day one, and fulltime employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days.

The employee in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. Provides fast and friendly service at our quick serve venue. Will take orders and process transactions while providing family style service to our guests.

  • Provides superior guest service, positively affects interactions with guests and team members, and has the resilience to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work effectively and courteously with fellow team members.
  • Greeting customers, serving guests at the counter, using cash register for guest payment.
  • Responsible for greeting customers in a friendly and timely manner, addressing them by name whenever possible.
  • Knowledgeable in menu and any specials informing guests as seated.
  • Be a customer experience owner, act in ways that will surprise and delight our guests. Leave guests with positive feelings about our property and establish/maintain relationships with them. Approach each situation with a “yes we can” attitude, every guest every time.
  • Must wear black, slip resistant shoes at all times. Clean and professional appearance.
  • Responsible for maintaining clean and organized service area and helps maintain seating area by cleaning tables in the vicinity.
  • Ability to recognize an intoxicated guest and handle according to company and state rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge and demonstration of work place safety procedures. Completes all company-required training within designated time frames
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • A high school diploma or GED, and one-year restaurant experience equivalent preferred.

  • Proficient math and cashiering skills.

  • Ability to use all equipment associated with the position including, but not limited to, serving trays, cash register systems, telephone, clearly and effectively, and cleaning equipment.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external guests.

  • Ability to perform assigned job duties in an interruptive environment under frequent time pressures.

  • Ability to move effectively and efficiently around restaurant, between chairs, tables and guests.

  • Walking/Standing 100% of which 15% is bending/lifting (up to 20lbs)

  • Restaurant/Casino environment--exposed to varied levels of smoke, lights, noise, and temperatures.

  • Ability to be at work on time as scheduled on a regular basis which may include nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Report to work in a neat and clean uniform, with slip resistant shoes. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.
