ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Receive and process payments for all sales.
b) Review invoices, receipts and credit notes ensuring accuracy of information.
c) Balance cash drawer by ensuring that proper accounting is kept of cash received.
d) Assist with the counting of physical inventory.
e) Process sale transactions using Point of Sale equipment.
f) Respond to customer queries and route complaints to the appropriate department.
g) File invoices and related documents accurately for easy retrieval.
h) Interact with customers and respond to their queries via phone, in person, or email.
i) Provide administrative assistance to Key Account, Logistics & Distribution Manager as required.
j) Prepare daily cash, credit card and bank transfer reports for submission to Accounting Department.
k) Performs any other job-related duties which may be assigned from time to time.
2. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
a) Minimum of an Associate Degree in Business Administration
b) Five (5) CSEC subjects including Mathematics, Accounting & English Language
c) Minimum of five (5) years cashiering or accounting experience.
d) Familiarity with Accounting Software.
e) Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
f) High level of initiative and organization.
g) Proficient in Microsoft Applications: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
h) Proven aptitude for working with numbers.
i) Ability to work productively and effectively in a team setting.
j) Ability to apply analytical thinking to solve problems.
k) High attention to detail and conscientious approach to delivering high quality results.
l) Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
m) Customer service focused and ability to employ a flexible, positive attitude.
