Pool Cashiers are the first point of contact for patrons entering our facilities. They are responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing all admissions and point-of-sale transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records. Cashiers represent the facility and the City of Georgetown’s Aquatics Department through professionalism, accuracy, and a friendly attitude.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Greet patrons courteously and provideaccurateinformation about hours, pricing, rules, and facility amenities.

• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process admissions andpassesefficiently and accurately.

• Handle cash, credit, and electronic transactions responsibly;maintainbalanced tills and complete daily cash-out procedures.

• Enforce facility entry policies, including age restrictions, membership verification, and prohibited items.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcomingreceptionareaat all times

• Communicate clearly and professionally with pool management, lifeguards, and patrons.

• Monitor patron flow and notify Head Lifeguard of unusually high traffic, disruptive behavior, or safety concerns near the entrance.

• Follow all city and department policiesregardingcustomer service, cash handling, and employee conduct.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must be at least 15 years of age at time of hire. Regular punctual attendance isrequired

EMPLOYMENT TESTING:
Employment is contingent on passing post-offer, pre-employment drug testing, criminal background investigation and driving record check, if applicable.

Work Schedule:

Shiftsavailablefrom 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 p.m.

Hiring Range: Starting at $1150, hourly.
