Job Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

A Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing good customer service.

JOB

1.To process all cash transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures. The staff will play a fundamental role in achieving our customersatisfaction and revenue growth objectives.

2.Greet customers when entering or leaving establishments.

3.Handle cash transactions with customers using cash registers.

4.Issue receipts,summary bill,itemized bill,refund note and etc.

5.Resolve customer complaints,guide them and provide relevant information. 6.Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.

7.Keep reports of transactions.

8.Communicates with others in a polite and professional manner.

9.Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accurate amounts and adequate change available during the work shift,compute and record totals oftransactions.

10.To ensure inter services task are well communicated performed together with the spirit of teamwork within the organization and group.

11.To perform any other duties as and when required by the management.

12.To ensure conformance to all policies and procedures and /or Hospital Accreditation Standards, Guidelines, Relevant Acts, Regulations by-Laws and statutory requirement are adhered to and records maintained, if and when these programs are implemented.

13.Responsible and accountable to carry out all activities directed by the Management.

14.Maintain strict confidentiality of any information encountered during the course of your duty in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Education:

  • SPM

Knowledge and Experiences:

  • Minimum 1 years working experience in related field

Skills & Competencies

  • Basic Course in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel or its equivalent

Special skills are required:

  • Proficient in writing and conversing in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
