Job Description

  • Accurately redeems guest’s transactions.

  • Redeems guest’s slots payout tickets.

  • Cash guest’s personal checks, electronic checks, credit card advances.

  • Payouts for guest’s prizes verifying all appropriate identification.

  • Pay/reimburse jackpots for Slots.

  • Prepare bank for Food & Beverage staff any other team members transactions as deemed appropriate by Cage Management.

  • Follows the company’s Trop Core Values at all times.

  • Knowledge of Title 31 Bank Secrecy Act for large cash transactions and recording/reporting requirements.

  • Knowledge of MS Gaming regulations as well as internal controls, policies and procedures.

  • Must be able to work with high-volume transactions and handling large sums of money and requires strict adherence to regulatory and internal security protocols.

  • Maintain security and confidentiality of all funds and sensitive information.

  • Must be able to operate from a secure enclosure.

  • Performs any other duties assigned by management.

  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively
  • Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period
  • Must maintain a professional appearances and demeanor
  • Basic math skills and proficiency with a 10 -key calculator, basic computer skills required.
  • Prior cash handling or cashiering experience
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail, accuracy in transactions, and ability to maintain financial records
