Job Purpose

The Cashier is responsible for handling customer payments, including cash, cheques, and credit card transactions, and ensuring their accurate recording, reconciliation, and timely deposit. The role also manages petty cash expenses in compliance with company policies, maintains proper records for audit readiness, and provides professional customer service in line with organizational standards.

Principal Accountabilities

• Collect cash and cheques from customers and issue system-generated receipts.
• Deposit cash and cheques into the bank/RDC or with the Chief Cashier as advised by the Treasury Department.
• Process credit card transactions and reconcile daily receipts with credit card terminal reports.
• Maintain accurate records of all cash and related reconciliations and send daily reports to Central Treasury.
• Make petty cash payments and record expenses as per the Petty Cash Policy and related Guidelines.
• Ensure timely replenishment of petty cash and prepare expense reports and reconciliations.
• Maintain and dispatch records for safe warehousing in accordance with the Cashiering Procedures Manual.
• Process customer refunds in line with company policies.
• Report daily closing cash for verification to the Finance Supervisor and Branch In-Charge.
• Prepare Handing Over/Taking Over (HOTO) documents when required.
• Ensure readiness for audits.
• Generation of Payment links. Assisting in implementing Kaizens

Required Qualifications

• Bilingual is a must (Arabic & English)
• Expereince in Cashiering & Finance
• Client Service Excellence
• Record keeping and documentation
• Team player
