Monday - Friday 10:00 am - 6:30 pm, alternating weekends (weekend hours 7am - 3:30pm)
Fulfill Cafeteria opening and/or closing duties on assigned shift.
Operate POS system during assigned meal periods to accurately ring up customer orders and accurately tender transactions.
Prepare self service areas in cafeteria prior to the start of services.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for customers in common areas with in the cafeteria, complying with food safety regulations.
Serve food in accordance with established portion sizes and presentation standards.
Monitor and restock/replenish displays/merchandisers, disposables, and condiments before, after, and during services to ensure consistent availability for customers.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and responding to needs in a compassionate and professional manner.
Comply with all local and federal food safety regulations.
Complete prep tasks and production tasks as needed. or as assigned by Food Service Manager/Director.
Performs all tasks as assigned by Food Service Manager/Director.
Food Service experience preferably in a hospital setting preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Must have the State of Texas Food Handlers certification within 60 days of hire.
