We’re excited to bring Mia’s Table to Sugar Land and are currently building our opening team ahead of our anticipated late June 2026 opening!

What You’ll Do:

As a Cashier at Mia’s Table, you’ll be one of the first faces our guests see. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming experience while ensuring accurate and efficient service.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting guests with enthusiasm and genuine hospitality
• Taking guest orders accurately in person and over the phone
• Operating the POS system and processing cash and electronic payments
• Answering questions about menu items
• Upselling food, beverages, desserts, and add-ons to enhance the guest experience
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and stocked cashier station
• Assisting guests with concerns and communicating with Managers or Leads when needed
• Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth operations
• Following all food safety, sanitation, and company procedures
• Balancing and maintaining the cash drawer during each shift

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred but not required
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Basic math and cash handling skills
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Food Handler and TABC Certifications required
• Restaurant experience is a plus, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are most important

Compensation: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
