The Cashier is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, accurately handling cash and credit transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This role ensures that customers have a positive experience by providing fast, friendly, and efficient service.

Qualifications

A Day in the Life May Include:

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with inquiries.

• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing questions, concerns, or complaints promptly.

• Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.

• Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers.

• Balance the cash register at the end of each shift.

• Stay informed about products, promotions, and store policies to answer customer questions effectively.

• Follow company policies and procedures for cash handling, loss prevention, and security.

Qualifications

• Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Experience:

  • Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.

• Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Ability to operate a cash register or POS system.
