The position of Cash Controller is based in Nový Jičín , Czech Republic

Job Purpose:

The Cash Controller is responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s cash flow, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining robust internal controls over cash-related processes. This role plays a key part in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Job responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize company cash flow and liquidity
  • Coordinate cash flow forecasting across departments
  • Prepare monthly cash flow reports and variance analysis
  • Support budgeting and long-term financial planning
  • Ensure accuracy of cash-related transactions and accounts
  • Responsible for bank accounts management in co-ordination with Country Finance Director and Chief accountants
  • Oversee payment processes, bank reconciliations and liquidity
  • Support financial audits and cooperate with external institutions
  • MRO KPIS (savings, quality issues, number of suppliers, right first time invoicing, sourcing in compliance with target)
  • Cash flow forecast accuracy
  • Working capital optimization (DSO, DPO, inventory)
  • Timely and accurate reporting
  • Monitor daily cash balances and forecast liquidity
  • Coordinate cash flow planning with controlling and operations
  • Analyze variances between actuals and forecasted cash flow
  • Support month-end and year-end closing
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and management reports
  • Manage payments, receipts, and treasury processes
  • Identify opportunities for cash optimization
  • Support development of treasury tools and process improvements

Requirements:

Knowledge / Qualification

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
  • Professional certifications (ACCA, CIMA, CFA) are an advantage
  • Fluent in Czech and English
  • 3–5 years of experience in financial controlling, treasury or cash operations
  • Experience in a multinational or manufacturing environment preferred

Technical competencies:

  • Cash flow management and liquidity planning
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel
  • Financial reporting and accounting principles
