Job Summary

The Global Cash & Risk Manager, is responsible for overseeing all aspects of treasury activities to ensure effective cash management, liquidity, and financial risk mitigation. By overseeing regional liquidity and cash flow forecasting facilitates the efficient use of short-term excess cash and obtains short-term funding. Other responsibilities include identifying and communicating anticipated short-term cash flows to internal stakeholders, performing cash volatility studies, developing cash targets by legal entity to support efficient liquidity management, and leading/supporting strategic initiatives. This role is based in Asturias, Spain!

Where You’ll Make a Difference

• Ensuring that the cashflows generated by the global business operations are managed and directed, to ensure that the IFF group has sufficient liquidity available at the right time & in the right place, to meet its daily cash needs.
• Managing the corporate FX management & FX hedging activities including the Balance Sheet & Net Investment Hedge programs, and the Commodity hedging programs.
• Managing the issuance and repayment of short & long-term debt to ensure that cash levels are optimized, and that additional funding is available as and when required by business and corporate events.
• Managing the balance sheets of all IFF subsidiaries to ensure that funding arrangements are optimized, and the available cash is systematically repatriated through the IFF ownership structure to IFF Inc.
• Engaging key internal and external stakeholders to ensure Treasury cash and risk processes are as efficient & effective as possible and integrated within the corporate & business processes.
• Maintaining an extensive network within and outside the company to ensure access to “Best in Class” Treasury practices

• Manage global liquidity, cash forecasting, and investment activities to optimize cash utilization.
• Lead FX, interest rate, credit, and commodity risk management programs, including hedging strategies.
• Oversee funding activities, debt issuance, refinancing, and capital structure management.
• Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and key external stakeholders.
• Provide treasury reporting, financial analysis, and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Lead treasury projects, process improvements, and strategic initiatives, including M&A support.
• Ensure compliance with treasury policies, regulations, and internal controls while developing team capabilities.

How Would You Stand Out?

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP), Associate Member of Corporate Treasurers (AMCT) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)) are advantageous
• Strong understanding of global cash management practices, financial risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
• Proficiency in treasury management systems and financial software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and manage global teams.
• Knowledge of international financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• 10+ years of progressive experience in treasury management, cash management, financial analysis, or related roles.
• Proven track record of operational decision-making, team management, and stakeholder engagement.
